Are you short on time?

Tired of spending hours, days, months of time that you don’t have on caption-writing for Social Media? Out of ideas on what the heck to write about?

I have narrowed down 8 content pillars that inspire ideas flowing, organized, and original. Keep your Social Media content from being redundant by using these topics.

1) Education

This is truly the MOST critical pillar for success. The only way to prove to someone you are an expert is by exposing your brilliance on the topic.

If you are a photographer and can’t explain the best selfie angles or which brand poses attract clients, why am I going to hire you, or even… why would I follow you? Value-driven content is the MOST ESSENTIAL to building an audience.

2) Know/Like/Trust

We live in a digital world, which means small businesses and solopreneurs are popping up all over the place! I strongly believe in community over competition, so I love seeing so may entrepreneurs thrive. However, you need to be realistic and realize that thousands of people offer the same business model as you.

But don’t be sad, there is something that no other business has, and they couldn’t even if they tried or spent millions of dollars… it’s YOU! You are the special sauce, the “it” factor that makes your business unique and likable.
So, open up!

Where are you from?
What’s your favorite cocktail?
How do you feel about motherhood?
What’s your relationship status?

YOU are your own money-maker! Don’t be shy; show up as your authentic self, and watch your clients flow in.

3) Social Proof

This is definitely the EASIEST “pillar filler” when you are out of ideas. Go to your website, Google, or where ever you store your client testimonials, copy it onto a brand-relevant Canva template, and you’ve got yourself a post in under 10 minutes.

Keep your caption simple “I love my clients” or “It’s great to hear feedback from my amazing clients” always work. This is also another way to expose your legitimacy as a business owner.

3) ENTERTAINMENT

Let’s be honest… we all started getting into Social Media because it’s fun, right? If I didn’t have a baby, a business, and a husband, I’d scroll on Instagram for 4 hours a day. I usually do that anyway, but for my clients, so it’s not exactly the same thing.

Ask your audience questions.
Tell them a funny story.
Give them fun videos to watch.

This is the reason TikTok and IG Reels are so popular. Watching behind-the-scenes insiders and reading exciting intel are super entertaining, and I am here for it.

There is something that no other business has, and they couldn’t even if they tried or spent millions of dollars… it’s you! You are the special sauce, the “it” factor that makes your business  unique and likable.

5) Inspiration

If I see a post with a heartfelt quote, stunning decor, or telling me how much of a boss babe I am, there is a 99% chance I will follow that account.

Share your favorite quote.

Let your audience know how grateful you are for them.

Tell them the journey you took to get where you are today.

This is why shows like The Masked Singer and The Voice have millions of viewers; people love to be inspired.

6) Blog promotion

logs are NOT dead, but that is a conversation for another time. If you own a service-based business, you need a website AND a blog. Not to sound harsh, but you are leaving SO MUCH MONEY ON THE TABLE if you don’t have a blog!!

Assuming you are aware of the importance of a blogs and posting regularly (1-2x/month); make sure to promote it. You either took a lot of time to write an industry-relevant blog or paid someone good money to write one, so let people know it is there!

Simply write a caption summarizing the value your audience will gain by reading it.

7) Press release/ podcast appearances

If you have been on a podcast or wrote for a publication, promote it! You should be proud of yourself for your accomplishments. This is another crucial factor in creating legitimacy and owning your boss babe title.

8) SERvice promotion

Last and CERTAINLY not least, you have to promote what you are offering!! People get so caught up in not wanting to be pushy or feel like a salesperson. If no one knows what you are selling, they can’t buy from you.

You created your business for a reason. There is a need for your services. Your dream clients exist, and they want to find you.

Help them by explaining what problem you will solve and what you are offering!

Social Media doesn’t have to take hours to manage.

Come up with a few ideas from each pillar. Then add copy to the ideas and match a picture or create a Canva template to go with your post. I can make a 30 day content calendar in under 90 minutes with this method.
